GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for all aspects of vascular ultrasound testing.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Graduation from two year cardiovascular technologist program.

2. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians and other health care workers

3. Ability to empathize with patients and families.

4. Ability to use good judgment in stressful emergency situations.

5. Adequate mathematics skills to maintain accurate record and report.

B. Required Length and Type of Experience

1. Minimum of one-year clinical experience.

C. Required Licensure, Certification or Registry

1. RVT, RVS or eligible.
