Temporary Paralegal
Our client, a prestigious law firm in Miami, Florida is seeking temporary litigation paralegal candidates for a long term project. The qualified paralegal must have a minimum of 1 year of complex litigation and trial experience as well as experience working on complex, document intensive matters. Successful Paralegal candidates will work directly with senior level attorneys and assist document review work as well as preparing for trials and depositions. Additional responsibilities will include reviewing, coding and redacting documents in preparation for discovery, creating witness binders, exhibit binders, and deposition summaries.
Required Experience
At least 1 year of litigation experience
Prior experience with large document-intensive cases
Assisting attorneys in preparing for trial and depositions
Summarizing depositions and trial transcripts
Tracking exhibits and other materials at depositions and at trial
Review documents for relevance and privilege
Experience with e-discovery databases such as Summation, Concordance or Case Map
Experience with legal research tools such as LEXIS and WestLaw
Project Details
Start Date: within the next few weeks
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Duration: 3-6 months
• Pay Rate: market rate
