Specific Job Description Senior Systems Architect to support multiple development programs designing and developing unmanned underwater vehicles and systems.
The senior Systems Architect is responsible for leading the development team towards creative solutions and approaches to meet complex technical challenges involving underwater systems. They are responsible for developing ConOps, defining, deriving and managing requirements, writing specification documents, performing requirements allocation and traceability and risk mitigation. Will lead SE teams as needed and will be a key member of the program leadership team and as such must ensure coordinated performance across all engineering disciplines. Will also participate in key leadership roles for numerous proposal efforts and is also responsible for effectively collaborating with related programs to build consensus and comprehensive solutions to meet tactical and strategic goals. Will be a champion for disciplined engineering approaches using Model Based Systems Engineering. Serves as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture. Ensures conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system.
