The Hot Section Engineering team in Florida is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support exciting new and existing development programs.
Specific skills sought include mechanical design knowledge and experience with: advanced material systems and their design and manufacture; military exhaust system design; and knowledge and experience in the design of low observable exhaust systems.
Applicants need to be an expert in the use of a CAD system (UG is preferred) and have a substantial grounding in the fundamentals of engineering and manufacturing aerospace hardware.
The successful candidate will work in a team environment as part of an integrated product team and will contribute to the overall design, analysis, fabrication, and validation of these novel structures. Significant interaction with internal and external customers is expected on these important programs. Therefore, good communication skills are required.
