Software Validation Engineer
Software Validation Engineer Kelly IT Resources premier medical device manufacturer in Miami is seeking a softrware validation engineer for a six month project. Description: Experienced software verification engineer to participate in the test planning, development and execution, which is one of most important strategic initiative for our client company. Responsibilities: - Design, develop and execute test plans and procedures, implementing innovative and effective test designs and assuring appropriate test coverage - Identify opportunities for test automation; design and develop automated test suites - Prepare appropriate documentation as required by internal product development process and regulatory agencies such as FDA and ISO - Interpret and evaluate test results - Collaborate with distributed, cross-functional teams to develop appropriate test procedures and determine root causes for failures - Support development of project plans, including scope, budget, schedules and risk management - Assist the introduction of methods, tools, technologies and processes with the project team, including quality metrics - Participate in technical decisions affecting product modules and/or subsystems, including functional specifications and technical reviews
Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent. -Advanced degree and relevant certifications are a plus - 3+ years experience in software lifecycle activities, preferably in a regulated product development environment - 3+ years experience in software testing, including design, development and execution of test plans and procedures for instrument control and embedded software; additional experience with networked software and database applications a plus - Familiarity with automated test methods and tools. Experience with MSTest, Test Complete or similar tools is a plus - Experience with the requirements management tools such as Cockpit is a plus
