"> "> Job Description TheSecurity Administrator (SA) within the ESRC Issues Management Team serves as the liaison between the Information Technology and ESRC organizations, driving compliance and risk remediation and producing actionable management reports on risk findings. TheSA works with Assessment Source Owners (ASO) and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to respond to and track audit and assessment compliance and security findings. The SA provides guidance, reviews evidence, and tracks issues from origination to closure. The SA is responsible for analyzing processes and driving consistency in reporting in order to reduce risk and maintain legal, regulatory and industry compliance. As a representative of ESRC policy and practice, SAwill have access to sensitive information about First Data's security practices as well as infrastructure and data processes. As such, the SA must understanding the sensitivity of the information s/he maintains and be able to exercise appropriate judgment anddiscretion in disclosure.
Job Specific Responsibilities Candidate Requirements Familiarity with 2 or 3 industry standard assessment sources (ie SAS 70, PCI, GLBA, risk, audit) - a Bachelor's degree or the business equivalent - a background in technology - must have information security experience - strong experience managing technical and/or security projects - strong end user desktop computing skills
Additional requirements include evidence of - strong written and verbal communications skills - strong people and process managment skills - continuous learning in the areas of technology and information security.
Knowledge of the financial services industry highly desirable. Knowledge of IT Audit or Regulatory compliance is also highly desireable.
Must have experience in Information Technology. Experience in process/project management preferred.
