Mobile Counselor
The Mobile Counselor is responsible for providing guidance to our program members in order to support the achievement of their weight loss goals. The Mobile Counselor "" floats"" to the centers within the region to fill in as needed, supports new center openings and serves as the ""go to"" expert in the market for nutrition counseling.
The Mobile Counselor is Exempt and reports to the Director of Operations Programs and Services.
Job Duties:
- Support multiple sites by acting as the ""go to"" expert in the market for nutrition counseling.
- Provide support and coverage in the centers as needed.
- Serve as the main resource for educating clients on how to face challenges of weight loss, as well as how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
- Support, motivate and educate clients on Medifast program/personalized programs, healthy eating habits and the science of weight loss.
- Meet the needs of existing clients by providing all program services and tools via weekly consultations.
- Monitor client weight loss progress, suggesting changes in program and food options for increased success.
- Provide support and assistance in meal replacement selections.
• Maintain strong knowledge of all Company products, accessories, pricing plans, promotions and service features.
• Provides efficient, courteous customer service and assistance in all aspects of product offerings and services.
- Schedule weekly appointments and follow up with clients on missed appointments.
- Provide nutritional counseling support and ongoing training to centers within the market.
- Participate in new center openings as needed.
- Support the administrative aspects of the center as needed and complete o ther duties as identified and assigned by management.
- Uphold the MWCC Performance Standards - see attached.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
Experience and Education Requirements:
• Possess a four (4) year degree.
• Registered Dietician OR Certified Nutritionist.
• Knowledge and/or experience in weight loss/weight management preferred.
Skills Requirements:
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose and provide counsel on nutritional and behavior aspects of the weight loss process with accuracy and empathy.
• Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team oriented retail environment.
• Basic understanding of the science of weight loss and healthy lifestyles.
• Strong computer skills especially in Excel, Power Point, Word, Internet Explorer, Operating Systems.
Position Requirements:
• Possess a reliable vehicle that can be used for business purposes, including travel between centers.
• Available to work day, evening and weekend hours; flexibility to meet the needs of serving multiple center locations and schedules.
• Possess and maintain a valid and active driver's license.
• Ability to travel throughout area as necessary.
• Ability to travel outside of assigned market area on an as needed basis.
