Media Planning Coordinator

The Media Planning Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Supervisor of Media Planning Operations in the execution of On-Air and In-Program promotional strategies. This individual will mainly focus on the day-to-day operations of Tape Processing & Implementation of network strategies whereas Miranda In-program promotional elements are concerned. This position will work closely with internal and external partners such as Media Planners, OAB (On-Air Branding), Media Library Services, Core, and On-Air Production to ensure that business goals are achieved. The overall goal is to contribute to the performance of the networks by fostering smooth operations and ensuring cross-departmental collaboration to support business initiatives.




Responsibilities:




1. Tape Operations for all 30 feeds w/in our portfolio.
Generate media item numbers within IBMS traffic system.
Match generated MI#s to promo version (Spot TX & Air Dub) according to work order request.
Ensure proper processing status which is determined by start date of anticipated campaign
QC Confirmation creation and submittal for processing to/for Broadcast Operations
Trouble-shoot and resolve any/all issues around tape rejections as quickly as possible as these issues can ultimately prevent a promo/campaign from going to air.
Responsible for learning and digital (file base) process/transition that is currently underway.

2. Miranda (In-Program Promotions) Operations:
Must learn & fully comprehend the various Miranda strategies for each network.
Pull daily Miranda reports w/in IBMS Custom Reports
Clean Miranda reports by removing unnecessary information, adjusting show titles, etc.
Work closely with the respective Media Planners to implement In-program promotional & network strategies by inserting specific elements-i.e Big Promotable, Online, and Marketing messages. In doing so, we're able to foster support and create better synergies across all platforms.

3. Work closely with MP Operations Supervisor to trouble-shoot and resolve any/all on-air or promotional mistakes that are called to our attention.

4. Operates, under direct supervision, within the context of clearly defined projects or network objectives and outcomes.

5. Serve as back-up to/for the Media Planning Coordinators whereas logs and Commissioning Lists creation & maintenance are concerned.
