Marketing/Artist AssociateTo provide creative concept, design, production services and project management support for the Strategic Marketing Division, with an emphasis on consumer and advertising projects that increase revenue and grow our audience. To ensure that a positive image of the company is portrayed to the advertiser and consumer and client relationships are strengthened via creative services.
Responsibilities: To design high quality sales and consumer materials including, but not limited to: spec-ad campaigns, media kits, brochures, sales fliers, displays, event signage, in-paper ads, trade publication ads, PowerPoint presentation designs, multi-media presentation designs, advertiser promotions, online/digital/mobile promotions, HTML emails, sweepstakes and contest promotion, and logo design that support our Florida brands and WSFL-TV based on input from various project requestors Ensure projects support advertising and consumer objectives and company key initiatives Demonstrate leadership by showing strong project management skills; ensuring that all project objectives and timelines are met To organize files of physical and electronic nature; ensuring that all materials are archived promptly and according to department standards to avoid data loss and for quick and efficient retrieval of artwork Assist to mentor and train fellow artist, contractors, freelancers, photographers and interns in all aspects of the job - as situations arise To make compelling presentations regarding the concept and strategy of creative materials to internal and external clients - as requested To utilize in-house resources to gain knowledge of software, hardware and best practices To manage externally printed materials by developing accurate print specifications, negotiating price quotations for vendor services and monitoring the work of the vendor Ensure proper working order of department computers, printers and other equipment through regular communication with the Technology staff and Senior Art Director To keep abreast of new trends and technology in the advertising, consumer, design and related technology fields To maintain adequate art and computer supplies to prevent interruption of work To keep abreast of Sun Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel Company brand and image philosophy and graphic standards in order to maintain a consistent style Work smartly and efficiently within a team environment; sharing design best practices Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Art Director and Regional Creative Marketing Manager
