As a leader in the Servicing Department this position will be responsible for ensuring Freddie Mac default performance goals are met including early and late stage collections results, loss mitigation workout ratio, foreclosure timeline management and data integrity. Candidate will partner with the default operations managers to identify and implement strategies designed to achieve optimal portfolio performance and to consistently meet or exceed the Freddie Mac default goals.
Required Skills
Manage Freddie Mac default and EDR coding process. Establish workflow process coding procedures and edit reporting to ensure all loans reflect the appropriate status code as of each calendar month end * Coordinate with Collections Manager to develop/implement strategies aimed at ensuring full compliance with foreclosure referral timelines * Coordinate with Foreclosure Manager to develop/implement strategies aimed at ensuring full compliance with state foreclosure timelines * Coordinate with Loss Mitigation Manager to develop/implement strategies aimed at increasing the number of monthly Freddie Mac portfolio workouts including but not limited to repayment plans, loan modifications and short sales * Monitor, identify and address completed loss mitigation workouts pending settlement with Freddie Mac * Develop/employ monitoring mechanisms to ensure all loans are properly coded, moving through the default process timely and have loss mitigation administered in accordance with Freddie Mac requirements Required Experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent * Bachelors Degree in Business preferred * 5+ years mortgage loan default leadership experience * 5+years Freddie Mac mortgage loan default experience * Proven ability to prioritize, delegate, organize and coordinate projects * Must be effective in a cooperative team environment * Excellent verbal/written communication skills * Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office) * Knowledge of LPS/MSP Servicing systems preferred * Experience with Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae audits
