Knowledgeable and/or expereinced in an OCONUS environment. Familiarity with military operations. Specific Job Description Lockheed Martin seeks a Base Expeditionary Target Surveillance System - Combined (BETSS-C) Operator to serve in a war-zone environment in Afghanistan. Individual will receive BETSS-C operator training, travel to Afghanistn, and perform force protection operator duties in austere environments. Entitlements such as danger and hardship premiums will be applied to the 40 hour base salary only while deployed. The typical work week onsite is 84 hours with surge support as required. Individual must complete processing through the National Deployment Center (NDC) prior to deployment. Work will include operating BETSS-C and RAID systems, performing preventative maintenance checks and services on systems, performing operator maintenance tasks with sufficient skills to follow troubleshooting procedures and convey findings to qualified maintenance personnel.
