Are you interested in playing a leadership role driving the success of the Enterprise business for Microsoft in [sub/area name]? Are you ready for the challenge of partnering with local leadership including the EPG Lead (Enterprise Partner Group Lead), Corporate Account Lead, Business Group (BG) Leads, and the M&O Lead (Marketing & Operations Lead), to drive enterprise sales, orchestrate Operating Model planning, and effectively execute marketing that will generate qualified new pipeline for sales, accelerate opportunities, improve customer relationships, and advance perception of Microsoft with IT decision-makers.
The EML is a visionary leader who applies deep customer, competitor and market insight and understands market potential today and in the future, determines how to prioritize and best adopt messaging guidance, and defines the customer contact strategy as the IT decision makeer audience owner for the Enterprise business. Reporting to the C&O (with dotted line to the EPG, PS and SMS&P Leads), the EML is responsible for overall marketing strategy, planning, and execution for the Enterprise business across EPG, SMS&P Corporate Accounts and Public Sector.
Managing multiple stakeholders, the EML is accountable for driving a customer-focused marketing strategy which has a significant impact on segment revenue growth, meeting subsidiary scorecard, beating competitive targets, enhancing customer perception and further developing the Microsoft relationship.
The EML owns the audience strategy for Enterprise IT Decision Makers, (ITDMs), covering all marketing touchpoints, and has final accountability over audience outreach and messaging.
The EML is a strong manager who sees people management as a strategic imperative and will be seen as a “talent mangnet” as manager and mentor. The EML defines a clear relation between business & people strategy. The EML discusses goals and commitments with employees to ensure their understanding and to reinforce performance expectations. Employees get access to leaders, colleagues, and customers who can support their development activities. The EML establishes an effective peer-to-peer coaching among team members to support the transfer of knowledge.
Specific responsibilities of the EML include:
- Own the Enterprise marketing strategy across Enterprise Accounts (both EPG and SMS&P Corporate Accounts)
- Manage Segment Alignment planning (SAW) and an ongoing engagement rythym across all wheels (Sales, Services, Partner & Marketing) that is viewed by local leadership as critical for managing the business.
- Deliver qualified opportunities to support New Pipeline targets
- Execute relationship marketing programs to support optimizing opportunities and drive in quarter renewals
- Ensure that WW guidance, insights and reporting are effectively landed in the subsidiary
- Manage , proper success measurement & reporting and provide timely analysis to local and WW leadership
- Maintain visibility to the pipeline of key opportunities
- Owns Lead Management & Enterprise Telemarketing Strategy
- Participate as a member of the BMO leadership team and share in strategic decisions
- Contribute to the WW Enterprise Marketing community by sharing local best practices and adopting ww initiatives
- Accelerating Marketing results by collaborating with the Breath Partner Team on joint activities & lead management
The Enterprise Marketing Lead is a senior manager with 10+ years of related experience, including:
- Deep knowledge and insight in the Enterprise market and IT decision makers through past sales, marketing or services leadership roles
- Proven leadership and people-management skills
- Track record of strategic organizational impact and influence and v-team accomplishments
- Experience devising and executing marketing to meet the needs of partners and customers and drive for results and delivery against accountabilities
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and cross-group collaboration abilities
* Deep knowledge and insight in the Enterprise market and IT decision makers through past sales, marketing or services leadership roles * Proven leadership and people-management skills (Impact & Influence)
* Track record of strategic organizational impact and influence and v-team accomplishments (Cross boundary collaboration)
