EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have experience in any combination of the following: streaming media, audio/video production and digital media editing; production of live events; satellite signal acquisition; customer service. Working knowledge of the following is also desirable:
Flash Media Live Encoder
Windows Media Encoder and File Editor
Video Conferencing Units
Satellite Receivers
Spectrum Analyzer
Vector/Waveform Monitor
FFmpeg
Flix Pro
Sorenson Squeeze
QuickTime Player Pro and QuickTime Broadcaster
Sony Vegas/Sony Sound Forge
The candidate will also have an Associate’s degree or higher in a technical discipline.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a streaming media environment
Familiarity with audio/video signal routing
Understanding of and proven ability to troubleshoot encoding and streaming
Understanding of content delivery networks
Ability to edit digital media on both linear and non-linear editing software
In addition to the above technical skills, the ideal candidate must also:
Have the ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects in real time
Have the ability to learn new, complex, and proprietary skills quickly
Be able to work autonomously as well as meet team goals
