Compensation:

Position Summary:

1. Answer all incoming calls in a friend, professional manner, providing information, taking accurate messages or routing calls accordingly.

2. Sort and open all incoming mail and route appropriately. Prepare outgoing mail.

3. Take dictation and transcribe notes or transcribe from Dictaphone to computer.

4. Compose and type routine correspondence, including purchase orders, memoranda, etc.

5. Maintain current filing and tracking system for all incoming and outgoing correspondence.

6. Train and coordinate activities of Secretary I, Receptionist or Clerk.

7. Complete Timeboss schedule, uniform requisitions, word orders and warehouse requests.

8. Handle all guest/client complaints and inquiries in a courteous, efficient manner or route accordingly.

9. Schedule and coordinate appointments and travel reservations.

10. Compile and type statistical reports.

11. Keep work area organized, ensuring sufficient office supplies are maintained.

12. Maintain a safe working environment, reporting and correcting, if possible, any unsafe equipment or conditions.

13. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors/managers.

Requirements
Minimum five years’ experience, with some supervisor experience. Typing at 65 wpm, letter composition, data entry and word processing experience with Microsoft Word. Understand/speak/read/write English fluently. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop or bend for duration of shift [at least (8) hours].
