Business Systems Analyst
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as billing efficiencies, labor utilization and key financial indices.
Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for technology developments.
Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
Requires continual updated knowledge of e-commerce tools, computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow.
Coordinates and works on specific projects with Manager related to Lean and Kaizen programs for operational improvements.
Develop forms, templates and the beta testing of new upgrades in Quantum.
Develop Crystal reports based upon the requirements of the business
Responsible for creating and updating management reports/metrics to support our P3E initiatives.
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
Desirable: B.A. Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
Must Know Quantum to be considered.
Experience:
Five or more years experience with information systems and business processes.
Excellent communication skills, combined with a strong analytical/technical aptitude.
Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
Strong customer service orientation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of Six Sigma skills, Lean, Kaizen, process management, change management and advanced statistical techniques.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical skills.
Knowledge of SAP or similar system and Quantum.
Working Conditions / Environment / Special Requirements
Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirementsincluding, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
