Title: Business Intelligence Consultant 2, IT managed Care Decision Support, FT, 8:30 am - 5:00pm Location: Coral Gables With minimal guidance from the supervisor or team lead. The Business Intelligence Specialist for both Data Warehouse and non-Data Warehouse systems development. Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI development in conjunction with end-users, managers, clients and other stakeholders. Works closely with customers to understand business requirements and translate to appropriate technical solution to implement a BI solution to end users. The Business intelligence is also responsible for ensuring high levels of BI availability through support function; design of data structures and in depth testing. Develop and generate standard and ad hoc reporting capabilities from new and existing data source from both Data Warehouse and non-Data Warehouse. Strong project management skills and experience in all stages of development life cycle required. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated with ability to learn new concepts and job requirements quickly. In-depth knowledge of information system implementation life cycle with extensive analytical and system design skills .Solid project management skills in planning and monitoring small to large project in a cross-functional or more years of experience in SQL/Crystal Reporting required.
Four to six years of experience as a Business Intelligence Specialist in a Data Warehouse development lifecycle. The BI main role is to strategically design and implement a BI system, including integration with databases and data warehouses. This includes selecting, blueprinting, gathering requirements, designing, and rolling out BI solutions to end users.
Three or more years of experience in IT with knowledge of relational database management (RDBMS), Data Warehouse Architecture and Business Intelligence. Develops and managed the data structures required to support the enterprise through the BI tool. Experience in at least one of the following areas is essential; - Design, code, extract, manipulate, and load into a data model/data warehouse - Administer the DSS tools from tuning/performance prospective. - Develop and generate standard and ad-hoc reporting, metadata, and report definition from both data warehouse and non data warehouse - Data analysis and document all new or modified BI systems - Design and deliver end-user training and training materials One year of experience in Siemens Soarian Reporting desired.
