Overview:
Under general supervision and with minimal assistance from more experienced and knowledgeable analysts, assists with the formulation/definition of moderately complex project scopes and objectives. Devises or modifies procedures to research and resolve moderately complex to complex problems concerning devices, applications and equipment. Assists in the design, testing, debugging and documentation of networks, equipment configurations, and MST Systems. Independently researches and resolves moderately complex technical problems. May serve as primary system support for one or more moderately complex information systems. Mentors and trains the Field Services staff in the application of the skills necessary to support POS, PC, Communication and other MST systems.

Key Accountabilities:
Strong knowledge of network systems to provide support for all network technologies to include LAN's, WAN's, Wireless systems.
Strong skill set to identify, track, escalate, resolve and report IT infrastructure problems.
Strong ability to provide technical support to all areas of Field Services.
Strong ability to assist with Data and Voice add moves, and changes.
Strong ability to coordinate infrastructure related projects working with the business and other MST members.
The candidate must have strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
The candidate must have Project Management skills to lead medium to complex projects for the South Region.
Ability to remain flexible in a demanding work environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

Experience in scripting is a plus
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbal and written communication.
Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
Requires thorough computer skills, both hardware and software. E.g. Microsoft suite of products including but not limited to Office,Visio, Windows XP, Windows7, Server 2008, Hyena etc.
Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, and Cisco CCNA or equivalent training experience and knowledge a plus.
Any Voice technology would be a plus: Legacy phone/Voicemail to include but not limited to Rolm, Nortel, or Avaya and new Cisco IP Telephony Call Manager / Provisioning Manager / Unity Voicemail.
Skills Summary:
BA/BS degree preferred. Will consider equivalent experience and certifications.
Minimum of three to five years' experience working Large Scale Network environments.
Working knowledge with infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
Working knowledge with configuring and troubleshooting data hardware including Cisco switches and routers.
Working knowledge virtual server technology
Willing to travel between Macys store locations as needed.
